Hirohito was born on April 29th, 1901 and passed on January 7th, 1989. He was 129th emperor of Japan. Hirohito criticized the alliance of Japan with Nazi Germany and Italy. He was one of the youngest emperors of Japan but, his age did not matter when it came to ruling.

At 8.15am on August 6th, 1945 a US B-29 bomber dropped an atomic bomb on the Japanese city of Hiroshima,
instantly killing around 80,000 people. Three days later, a second bomb was dropped on Nagasaki, causing the deaths of 40,000 more. Japan was finally forced to surender. The end of the war. The Axis powers lost the war and changed the way the world would be forever.
